We understand that these conditions can have a considerable effect on the quality of life, therefore Dr Akram will spend time diagnosing conditions and deciding with you the best course of treatment to alleviate the problem. One option is joint or soft tissue injections for pain relief, which Dr Akram has extensive experience in.

Minor skin surgery

With his surgical background, Dr Akram is highly experienced and able to surgically remove or treat a variety of skin blemishes. Private GP is equipped with specialist equipment, meaning he can perform the following procedures:

Mole removal
Skin tag removal
Cyst removal
Treatment of warts and verrucae
Assessment and where necessary treatment of other skin blemishes or lesions

Longer appointments are available on request and with prior arrangement and are charged at £52 per additional 10 minutes.
Medical Reports - From £230, depending upon complexity and time
Taxi and HGV medicals - £210
Fitness, employment & to fly medicals- £200
Private referral or onward letter - from £80
Repeat prescription (for prescriptions previously originating from FastGP) - £35
Sick or fit letter- £45 (this is not NHS Sick Note)
Hayfever injection - £95 plus cost of consultation
